Welcome to The Children's Courtyard! Our school is conveniently located in Wilmington, minutes from Novant Hospital.
At our school we offer Infant, Toddler, Preschool, and Pre-Kindergarten programs. Our programs are designed to provide the perfect foundation for your child's learning and development. Here, your child will be engaged in educational activities that take place in a secure, caring and enriching environment.
Our after-school program provides plenty of outdoor time for school-agers. Additionally, we offer transportation from Codington, Pine Valley, Holly Tree, Bellamy, Snipes, and Belville Elementary!
We're proud to have a dedicated and talented team of teachers at our school! Our teachers participate in ongoing early childhood education training throughout the year.

Nicole Emery, Director
Education: Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Leadership, Public Policy and Advocacy; Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education
Certifications: Level III Administrator, Level 12 ECE, CPR, First Aid, ITS-SIDS, BSAC, Playground Safety, Emergency Preparedness, Touchpoints
I began my career in Early Childhood Education in 2007 and it has been my passion ever since! Children are our future and I take great pride in providing high quality care for our future leaders each and every day. I am married to my best friend, Justin, and together we are the proud parents of our son, Jeremiah. I also enjoy traveling, boating, and spending time with friends and family.

I have dedicated 12 years to early childhood education with five years in the administrative position. I have a passion for teaching and caring for young children and building relationships with them and their families!
