Welcome! My name is Quanika and I am Center Director. At The Children’s Courtyard, our mission is to provide safe and stimulating environments,as well as, nurturing care and challenging learning opportunities for all students in our Infant Care, Preschool and School-Age programs.
We remain committed to supporting our community and providing families with peace of mind in these challenging times. That starts with providing a safe, secure and healthy environment for your child when they’re away from home. We’re closely following guidance from the CDC and other health authorities, as well as state and local officials, as we take extreme care with health and safety measures.
We’ve strengthened our already rigorous cleanliness and hygiene practices (including more frequent, longer hand washing, and cleaning and sanitizing surfaces and items in classrooms throughout the day.) We’re providing protective face coverings for all staff members to wear when working at school with children. We’re now screening all staff members and children upon arrival at school to check for raised temperatures or evident symptoms.
We know education is not a one-size-fits-all experience. That’s why we created the School Readiness Pathway to provide the best educational path for each child. The Prep Lab was designed for School-Aged students who are in need of educational support to help bridge the gap between home and school this fall.
Our school also offers two mobile apps, brightwheel and WatchMeGrow. Through these apps, you can get a peace of mind every day with real-time updates on your children sent directly to your computer or mobile device! Get photos and status updates on the activities your child is engaged in, key reminders, events, alerts and live streaming.
We offer flexible schedules to support the needs of working parents, as well as, and offer discounts through corporate partnerships located in the area.
Call us today and schedule a tour. I look forward to meeting you and your family!
Starting at the front door, our already robust health and safety procedures have been enhanced to ensure a clean, welcoming school environment. The well-being of your child is our top priority, now, and always.
Our first priority is making sure infants both are safe and feel safe, in a nurturing, stimulating classroom. Toys and materials allow for freedom of movement within safe boundaries, so children can explore, develop motor skills, and engage their curiosity.Learn More

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education Administration
I am a great nurturer, which is why I find such peace in the field of early childhood education. I’ve been an educator for seven years and it brings me great joy to support the growth of children and their families. My husband, two daughters, and I became Texas residents in 2017. When I’m not supporting my excellent staff and loving students, I enjoy time spent with my family! They are my world!
Education: Associate's in Psychology
My name is Vanessa Wiley and I am the associate director at CCY. I began my journey as an early childhood educator in 2015 where I started as a floater. Within five months I was promoted to lead infant teacher. I moved to Texas and transferred to CCY in 2018 where I became administrative assistant and then promoted to associate director. I truly enjoy caring for children and making sure all milestones and needs are being met. My motto is team work makes the dream work!
