Welcome to Our School
Welcome to The Children’s Courtyard daycare and preschool in South Plainfield, IL!
We offer a variety of programs designed to support children at every stage of development, including Infant, Toddler, Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten, Junior Kindergarten, and School-Age Care.
Our Before- and After-School programs offer school-age children plenty of opportunities for outdoor play and enrichment. We proudly serve Plainfield School District 202 and provide transportation to River View, Wesmere, Charles Reed, and Thomas Jefferson Elementary Schools.
Each day, children participate in engaging, age-appropriate educational activities in a secure, nurturing, and enriching environment. Our dedicated teaching team participates in ongoing professional development throughout the year to stay current in early childhood education and deliver meaningful classroom experiences.

My name is Tracy and I’m the Director of The Children’s Courtyard South. I have over 20 years of experience in the early childhood field and truly enjoy putting that experience into practice every day. I’m passionate about the importance of early childhood education and ensuring that every child who leaves our program is confident and ready for school. I’ve been a leader with Children’s Courtyard since July 2015, and I look forward to many more years of supporting our families.

My name is Isabel, and I’m the Assistant Director of The Children’s Courtyard South. I began my career in early childhood education in 2019 and have grown into my current role through dedication and a love for working with children and families. Previously, I served as a Preschool Teacher and Team Lead, experiences that prepared me for this next step in leadership. I’m excited to continue growing in this role, supporting our team, and welcoming new families to our school for many years to come.

My name is Daniela Mireles. I was previously a Preschool Teacher and now serve as the Team Lead at The Children’s Courtyard. I began my journey here in 2022, but I’ve been working in early childhood education since 2015. I truly enjoy building connections not only with our students, but with their families as well. I look forward to supporting our children, parents, and teaching team as we grow together!
