Welcome to Our School

Welcome to The Children's Courtyard of South Plainfield, IL! Our Infant, Toddler, Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten and School Age programs provide the perfect foundation for learning and development. We offer the community premium infant care, preschool/pre-k, and school-age programs! Our school is so much more than a daycare!

Our before- and after-school programs provide plenty of outdoor time for school-agers. We service Plainfield school district 202. We offer transportation to River View, Wesmere and Thomas Jefferson elementary schools.

Each day, your child will be engaged in educational activities that take place in a secure, caring and enriching environment. We have a wonderful team of teachers at our school who partake in ongoing early childhood education training throughout the year.

Certifications: Director Credential, Early Childhood Education Credential, Food Safety Manger, Allergen Awareness

My name is Tracy Gamino and I'm the director of The Children's Courtyard South. I have over 20 years of experience in the early childhood field and enjoy putting it into practice every day. I’m very passionate about the importance of Early Childhood Education and ensuring that every child that leaves our program, is ready for school. I have been a leader for Children’s Courtyard since July 2015 and looking forward to many more years to come!

My name is Isabel Vivas and I am the School Education Manager of The Children's Courtyard South. I began my experience in the field of Early Childhood Education in 2017. I started as a float in 2019, and worked my way to my role today. I love seeing the kids continue to grow individually and make unforgettable connections. I can't wait to see what the future holds.

My name is Daniela Mireles. I was previously a Preschool teacher, and now the Admin Assistant of The Children's Courtyard. I started my journey here in 2022 but I have been working in the Early Childhood environment since 2015. Not only do I enjoy making connections with the students but the families as well. I look forward to seeing not only myself grow but the students as well.

My name is Alexis Kuehni. I have been in the education field for almost 10 years now. I have experience in management along with experience in infants through school age. My favorite part about working with kids is connecting with them, and watching their eyes light up when they master a new skill. I look forward to continuing my growth with The Children's Courtyard.
