Welcome to The Children’s Courtyard educational daycare in Lewisville, TX! My name is Brandy and I am the campus director of this wonderful school. I have been working in child care as a teacher and manager since 1995.
At The Children's Courtyard, our Infant Care and Preschool programs provide the perfect foundation for learning and development. We have separate rooms for each age group and we also have two indoor playrooms for use during inclement weather. Our School-Age program is located in a separate building and includes several rooms for a variety of activities.
We have an outstanding group of teachers on our staff. Together, they have more than 60 years of experience! To remain leaders in early education, all of our teachers participate in ongoing training throughout the year. We also have an amazing cook on staff who ensures children receive healthy, delicious meals that are safe for children with allergies.
We closely follow recommendations from state and local authorities, to maintain a clean, safe, healthy environment. We’re committed to providing simple ways to keep you connected throughout the day while your child is in our care. With live streaming video, you can view your child’s classroom from any device or computer. Plus, get real-time updates with our family communication app.
Call and schedule a tour today to see how The Children's Courtyard could be the right fit for your child!
Are you concerned about the impact of COVID on your child’s education? You’re not alone. Now, more than ever, early education matters. We’re here to help.
Starting at the front door, our already robust health and safety procedures have been enhanced to ensure a clean, welcoming school environment. The well-being of your child is our top priority, now, and always.
Elective programs allow students to learn by exploring creative outlets that will help them advance in the future—while giving your family more free time on evenings and weekends. We offer:
Dance, Fitness, Soccer, Music, Yoga, Spanish, Phonics, Handwriting & Advanced Math
In this classroom, your child will make discoveries and think independently, as we prepare them for the future. The authentic Montessori curriculum enables children to learn in their own way, at their own pace, through the practical application of sensory-based and self-directed activities. Our certified Montessori teacher spends significant time with each child, helping them discover unique talents and interests. Plus, a full complement of Montessori equipment offers tangible, hands-on learning opportunities to develop children’s skills and senses.
This mixed-aged classroom (for 3- to 6-year-olds) also helps children to develop social skills and challenges them to learn to work together—while being mindful of the best interests of others.

Certifications: Director Certification
I have 24 years of experience in early childhood education with 22 of those years spent at The Children's Courtyard. My favorite part about working with kids is watching them learn and grow throughout our programs. I build strong relationships with my families and have loved every minute of my job!
Education: Child Development Associate
Certifications: Director Certification
I have been in the Early Childhood Education field for 25 years with 22 of those years being with The Children's Courtyard. I was a two-year-old teacher for four years, a PK teacher for five years, and now have been in management for the last 11 years. I believe our school is an extension to the care and love that every child deserves. It takes a village to raise a child and I feel privileged to be a part of that village.
Education: Associate's in General Studies
I have always had a passion from a young age to work with and teach children. I began my journey with The Children's Courtyard in 2019. I quickly went from Team Lead to School-Age Manager. I have an associate's degree in general studies from NCTC and I am currently working towards my child development associate's degree. I am very excited to build relationships with all of our children and their families.
