Welcome to The Children’s Courtyard in Kernersville NC! My name is Renee and I am the center director! I have over 20 years of experience in Early Childhood Education. I love working with children and I love what I do!

Education: Degree in Early Childhood Education and Early Childhood Administration

Certifications: BSAC, ADMIN I and II, and SIDS

I have a passion for caring for children and their families. I enjoy being a part of their growth and educational journeys. I take great pride in our school, staff and the partnerships we have with the parents to ensure a healthy and positive learning environment.

Liz Chesney, Assistant Director

Education: Bachelor of Science degree in early chldhood education with a minor in Business Administartion

Certifications: BSAC, ADMIN I and II, SIDS, and CPR Certified

Ms. Liz Chesney is joining The Children's Courtyard of Kernersville team as the center assistant director. She is a graduate from Winston-Salem State University. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in early childhood education with a minor in business administration. She brings 12 years of childcare experience and knowledge to the LCG family. She has a passion for all children and looks forward to watching the children and staff grow.

Jada Carter, Team Lead

Education: Associates of Applied Science in Human Services

Certifications: Edu119, SIDS, CDA, and Cpr/First Aid Certified

Hi, my name is Jada. I’ve worked with children for seven years, and I’ve been with The Children's Courtyard for going on two years. I received my cosmetology license at 19 years old. My favorite things to do outside of work is perfecting my craft of cosmetology. I am in school now working towards my Bachelor's degree in Social Work while also taking Admin classes. I’m excited to be a part of the team. My goal is to give the children a loving and safe environment!
