Welcome to Our School

Welcome to the Children’s Courtyard, an educational preschool in Issaquah, Washington!

My name is Shayna Troy and I am the Academy Director. I have around 15 years of experience in Early Childhood Education and six years in management. I began my journey with Children's Courtyard in 2023.

We appreciate your child's development, and how our curriculum could empower their minds and ability to see the world around them. I hope that we can meet soon to talk about having your little ones join our Children’s Courtyard family!

Our Infant, Toddler, Preschool, and Pre-Kindergarten programs provide the perfect foundation for learning and development. Each day, your child will be engaged in educational activities that take place in a secure, caring and enriching environment. We have a wonderful team of teachers at our school who partake in ongoing early childhood education training throughout the year. We are introducing our before and after school program in the Fall of 2024! We will be providing transportation to Issaquah Valley Elementary, Clark Elementary, and Grand Ridge Elementary.

Education: Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education

Certifications: Working with Diverse Families & Anti-Bias Curriculum

Hi, my name is Shayna Troy, I am the academy director here at Children's Courtyard. I have been in the field of childcare for 15 years and have been in management for five years. I have my associate's degree in Early Childhood Education and plan to continue to grow my education in any way that I can. When I am not at work, I am either coordinating a wedding or spending time with my mom, going to a Sounders games, and traveling!

Mandy Steward, Assistant Director

Education: CDA in Early Childhood Education

Hi, my name is Mandy Steward, I am the assistant director here at Children's Courtyard. I have my associate's degree in business management and have been in childcare and babysitting for 10 years. I am from Bellevue, Washington. I graduated from Bellevue High School and earned an athletic scholarship to Central Western University. I won "Freshman of the year" for Great Northwest Athletic Conference. In my free time, I coach my daughter's in all sports and enjoy going on our boat.

Hi, I am Sweta and I am the School Education Manager at Children's Courtyard. I have over 10 years of experience in childcare centers. I have worked with all age groups of children. When I am not working, I am traveling or cooking. I love to spend time with my family or go for a hike.
