Welcome to the Children’s Courtyard educational preschool in Issaquah, WA! My name is Gladys and I am the campus director.
I’m here to help you and your child thrive in our educational environment. I’ve been working for Learning Care Group for 11 years and have over 20 years of experience in the field of early childhood development. My passion in this field stems from my own experience as a two-year-old teacher early on in my career. I learned to appreciate their development, and how our curriculum could empower their minds and ability to see the world around them. I hope that we can meet soon to talk about having your little ones join our Children’s Courtyard family!
Our Infant, Toddler, Preschool, and Pre-Kindergarten programs provide the perfect foundation for learning and development. Each day, your child will be engaged in educational activities that take place in a secure, caring and enriching environment. We have a wonderful team of teachers at our school who partake in ongoing early childhood education training throughout the year.
We’re committed to providing simple ways to keep you connected throughout the day while your child is in our care. With live streaming video, you can view your child’s classroom from any device or computer. Plus, get real-time updates with our family communication app.
We closely follow recommendations from state and local authorities, to maintain a clean, safe, healthy environment.

Are you concerned about the impact of COVID on your child’s education? You’re not alone. Now, more than ever, early education matters. We’re here to help.
Starting at the front door, our already robust health and safety procedures have been enhanced to ensure a clean, welcoming school environment. The well-being of your child is our top priority, now, and always.
In this classroom, your child will make discoveries and think independently, as we prepare them for the future. The authentic Montessori curriculum enables children to learn in their own way, at their own pace, through the practical application of sensory-based and self-directed activities. Our certified Montessori teacher spends significant time with each child, helping them discover unique talents and interests. Plus, a full complement of Montessori equipment offers tangible, hands-on learning opportunities to develop children’s skills and senses.
This mixed-aged classroom (for 3- to 6-year-olds) also helps children to develop social skills and challenges them to learn to work together—while being mindful of the best interests of others.
