Welcome to The Children’s Courtyard in Grand Prairie, TX! My name is Sara and I am the campus director. I bring more than 23 years of experience as a teacher and manager to my position. I’d like to take this opportunity to tell you how our Infant Care, Toddler, Preschool, Pre-K and Schoolage programs provide children with a unique learning environment.
We have an outstanding group of teachers! More than half of them have been with us for two years or more and many of them have been here for 10 years or more. They receive quarterly training sessions on age-specific children’s topics, as well as an all-day staff development training day twice each year.
Our building houses multiple classrooms for each age group along with two indoor play areas. We have a separate school-age building with facilities to offer children a variety of recreational and educational activities. Since we opened in 1996, we have provided a safe, warm and welcoming learning environment for children.
During this unique time we have added additional safety measures in the wake of the pandemic. At this time we are screening anyone who enters our building by taking their temperature, and only children, staff, and essential personnel are allowed entry to our facility to help limit any possible exposure. We are conducting health checks throughout the day, and excluding from care anyone who exhibits signs of illness. We have increased our sanitizing and hand-washing protocols to help ensure health and safety measures are being met.
