Welcome to Our School

Welcome to The Children’s Courtyard at Brookmont, located within the Brookmont subdivision on Chapel Hill Road in Douglasville, GA. My name is Alyssa and I am the Campus Director. I have worked in early childhood for eight years, six of which have been with Learning Care Group, and I have a bachelor’s degree in early childhood and childhood education.

Our educational daycare offers Infant Care, Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten and other early education options, as well as Before- and After-School care for School-Age students. Our Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten, and School Age are Tech + Tinker classrooms, where we combine hands-on exploration with digital tools that enhance our world and our ability to solve problems in new and different ways. These classrooms have iPads with educational apps that build math and literacy skills, robots for coding, and a flat screen TV with gaming system for our Grow Fit initiative. Our new Prep Lab program for elementary aged students ensures that a loss of learning does not happen while schools are not in regular session.

The health and safety of our families and staff is our top priority. Our daily health screening of all children and staff members include temperature checks along with wellness questions. We also ensure frequent hand-washing and sanitation of toys and throughout the day.

We offer many flexible options for working families, including full time care, part time care, half days, and Flex care, where you pay based on attendance! We would love to accommodate your changing schedules. And while you're away at work, you can soon check in on your child's classroom through our WatchMeGrow live-streaming cameras.

Our loving and dedicated staff members take part in training throughout the year to stay current in the field of early childhood education.

I invite you to come in for a tour of our Children’s Courtyard in Douglasville, GA. We look forward to meeting you!

Here's what people have to say

4.9 out of 5 stars
I like the family atmosphere of the school and smaller class sizes. The staff really cares.. from the director to the teachers to those who prepare the children’s meals, etc. We are always greeted enthusiastically and feel welcome.
It’s been an awesome experience. I have a great relationship with Ms. Alyssa and Mrs. Gina. Our daughter’s teachers are great. Any time we ask them to work with something for our child, we always notice a difference. Children’s Courtyard has made our first daycare experience a GREAT one.
The school and staff are great. I've seen a huge difference in my child since she's been here. She's talks more, is more outgoing and loves going to school.
Friendly teachers and administrator. Kids are really happy and loved.
I'm very impressed with the teachers at this school they care about the kids and not just a paycheck. My kids have done better here than anywhere else
Lovely experience. Staff is very kind and value the families that attend.
My daughter started attending the children’s courtyard since she was 2 in Stockbridge. We ended up moving and at that tome there were no children’s courtyard in our area. We ended up moving again, and found one near us. It is a little out our way but so worth it. All of the staff know the children and parents. I love how engage they are with the kids. I love the academic and how they prepare the children
for the next step. This will be our last year at the children’s courtyard because my little one will be starting kindergarten. You will not regret enrolling your child into this school.

My husband and I love every aspect of the school, especially the cleanliness. The infant room is clean, each child has their own space for napping, everything is labeled and washed appropriately. The teachers are amazing. I really don't know how they do it every day, but they make it look easy. The security of the school is also another amazing feature. My husband likes that especially.
Overall, I have enjoyed the staff at the school and the positive and loving relationships Ive noticed during drop off in the morning.
I am in love with my newborn's teachers...Ms. Laura and Ms. Tameka...the patience, love and education they show my daughter makes me feel comfortable leaving her there while at work. I absolutely adore them.
