Welcome to The Children's Courtyard in Coppell. We are conveniently tucked behind Sonic off of Denton Tap. My name is Jennie and I am the campus director. I have taught and managed early education programs since 1993 and have been with The Children's Courtyard since 2002. My children attended The Children's Courtyard and have gone on to enjoy a successful education.
We are accredited as a private school through Cognia and offer a robust curriculum for all age groups. Our Infant Care, Preschool and School-Age programs provide the perfect foundation for learning and development. We also provide diapers, wipes and baby food for our infants along with our wonderful Grow Fit menus, live stream cameras that give parents access to their child's classroom, and live updates for parents through Brightwheel. We have updated technology in our Preschool, Pre-K and School-age classrooms. Children have iPads and an Inspire Plus interactive table with educational apps, games and hands-on learning experiences in Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Math. For our School-age we offer all day care with virtual labs for distance learners, The Prep Lab that focuses on language, literacy, and STEM activities to help support and extend learning, as well as Before and After care for our traditional learners.
During this unique time we have added additional safety measures such as masks, limited entry to children and essential workers, temperature screening, hand washing before entering the program and increased sanitizing protocols to help ensure health and safety measures are being met.
We have outstanding tenured staff that is dedicated to our children and families. All of our teachers receive background checks, FBI fingerprinting, First Aid/CPR and training in education and health and safety.
Since we opened in 2002, we have provided a safe, warm and welcoming learning environment for children in the community. Call today to discuss flexible scheduling needs for your family.
Starting at the front door, our already robust health and safety procedures have been enhanced to ensure a clean, welcoming school environment. The well-being of your child is our top priority, now, and always.
Our first priority is making sure infants both are safe and feel safe, in a nurturing, stimulating classroom. Toys and materials allow for freedom of movement within safe boundaries, so children can explore, develop motor skills, and engage their curiosity.Learn More

In our Preschool and Pre-K classrooms your child will discover opportunities to be creative, engage their mind and body, collaborate with friends, and learn new things. In our School-Age classroom, your child will find an immersive educational environment that is the perfect setting for productive, engaging mornings and afternoons, as we help them to be thinkers, makers, and doers. Some enhancements in this classroom include:
I am a mother of two, a wife and an early childhood educator. I enjoy the light bulb moments when a child learns "I can do it!" I have been in early childhood education for 25 years and have had the enjoyment of spending the last 16 working with The Children's Courtyard.
I was born and raised in Milwaukee, WI. I found my way to Texas five years ago and started my career in child care. I am happily married and love being with the children when they discover new things. I learn something new everyday.
I was born and raised in California and have two children. I have enjoyed the last 12 years of teaching and managing in early childhood education facilities. My favorite time with the children would be the teachable moments when you can turn everyday items into new discoveries.
