Welcome! We are The Children's Courtyard team located on William Cannon, an AdvancEd accredited private preschool in Austin, TX. We thrive to provide a safe, nurturing and education driven environment for our students.
We closely follow recommendations from state and local authorities, to maintain a clean, safe, healthy environment.
Our school offers Infant Child Care, Toddler, Early Preschool, Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten, and School-Age programs. We are a Texas Education Agency Preschool of Excellence designee, recognized for successfully preparing children for Kindergarten! We’re committed to providing simple ways to keep you connected throughout the day while your child is in our care. With live streaming video, you can view your child’s classroom from any device or computer. Plus, get real-time updates with our family communication app.
We have an open-door policy and are always available to speak with parents regarding the care and development of their children. Majority of our teachers have over five years of experience with The Children’s Courtyard. We have an incredible team of teachers who are educated, loving and creative. It is a true pleasure seeing them work with the children and helping them grow on a daily basis. We also have an on-site chef who creates homemade, healthy meals.
Since our school opened in 2001, we have provided a warm and welcoming learning environment for children and we would like you to become a part of our school family. Call us today to schedule a tour of The Children’s Courtyard at William Cannon!
Are you concerned about the impact of COVID on your child’s education? You’re not alone. Now, more than ever, early education matters. We’re here to help.
Starting at the front door, our already robust health and safety procedures have been enhanced to ensure a clean, welcoming school environment. The well-being of your child is our top priority, now, and always.
Elective programs allow students to learn by exploring creative outlets that will help them advance in the future—while giving your family more free time on evenings and weekends. We offer:
Dance, Fitness, Soccer, Music, Yoga, Spanish, Phonics, Handwriting & Advanced Math
In this classroom, your child will make discoveries and think independently, as we prepare them for the future. The authentic Montessori curriculum enables children to learn in their own way, at their own pace, through the practical application of sensory-based and self-directed activities. Our certified Montessori teacher spends significant time with each child, helping them discover unique talents and interests. Plus, a full complement of Montessori equipment offers tangible, hands-on learning opportunities to develop children’s skills and senses.
This mixed-aged classroom (for 3- to 6-year-olds) also helps children to develop social skills and challenges them to learn to work together—while being mindful of the best interests of others.
Ask your school director for additional details.
Our School-Age classroom is a perfect setting for productive, engaging mornings and afternoons, where children become thinkers, makers, and doers. Some enhancements in this classroom include:
