Welcome! My name is Penni and I am the campus director of The Children's Courtyard, an Advanced Ed accredited daycare in Austin, TX. I have been in early education for more than 26 years and have a Director’s Certificate from the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services.
Our school offers Infant Child Care, Toddler, Early Preschool, Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten, and School Age programs. We are a Texas Education Agency PreSchool of Excellence designee, recognized for successfully preparing children for Kindergarten! Our teachers are equipped with iPads in the classroom in order to keep our families updated throughout the day with our mobile app. We also have camera views in all of our classrooms and playgrounds.
I have an open-door policy and am always available to speak with parents regarding the care and development of their children. Majority of our teachers have over five years of experience with The Children’s Courtyard. We also have an on-site chef who creates homemade, healthy meals.
Since our school opened in 2001, we have provided a warm and welcoming learning environment for children and we would like you to become a part of our school family. Call us today to schedule a tour of The Children’s Courtyard at William Cannon!
We are excited to offer new technology in our school-age classroom. These enhancements include iPads featuring apps to create art, music, and videos, tripods for moviemaking, robots for coding, a new gaming system, and a safe Wi-Fi network for homework.
Education: Navarro College: Child Psychology/Child Development, Austin Community College: Marketing/Business Management
Certifications: Texas Directors Credential, Austin Public Health Food Manager, CPR/First Aid, SIDS/Shaken Baby, Health & Safety
I joined the Children's Courtyard family in 2015. I have 26 years of experience in education. I began my career as a Kindergarten teacher in 1992 and became a director in 2002. I look forward to getting to know each family in our program.
