Welcome to The Children's Courtyard educational daycare in South Arlington, TX. My name is Amy Miller and I am the campus director. I have worked for The Children's Courtyard for over 18 years. I graduated from Texas Tech University with a BS in Nutrition and Texas Woman's University (Houston Campus) with a MS in Nutrition.
Our center provides Infant Care, Preschool programs and Private Kindergarten, as well as a School-Age program that serves Arlington ISD, Kennedale ISD, and local charter and private schools. We have a tenured staff, many of whom have dedicated 20 years of their career to early childhood education. In addition to our child development training, each staff member is certified in First Aid and CPR.
We closely follow recommendations from state and local authorities, to maintain a clean, safe, healthy environment. We also strive to keep our families and community involved in all that we do at our school.
We’re committed to providing simple ways to keep you connected throughout the day while your child is in our care. With live streaming video, you can view your child’s classroom from any device or computer. Plus, get real-time updates with our family communication app.

In this classroom, your child will make discoveries and think independently, as we prepare them for the future. The authentic Montessori curriculum enables children to learn in their own way, at their own pace, through the practical application of sensory-based and self-directed activities. Our certified Montessori teacher spends significant time with each child, helping them discover unique talents and interests. Plus, a full complement of Montessori equipment offers tangible, hands-on learning opportunities to develop children’s skills and senses.
This mixed-aged classroom (for 3- to 6-year-olds) also helps children to develop social skills and challenges them to learn to work together—while being mindful of the best interests of others.
Ask your school director for additional details.

Hi! My name is Amy Miller and I am the campus director. I have been with The Children's Courtyard since 2003. I began working in the toddler and infant rooms, I soon progressed to being a preschool manager. In 2008 I began my journey as a campus director. My husband and I have two gorgeous children that attended The Children's Courtyard throughout their preschool and school-age years. I look forward to many more years working with The Children's Courtyard.
I have been with the Children's Courtyard for three years! I love watching children learn and grow. When I am not working I love to spend time with my son.
