Welcome to Our School
Welcome to The Children's Courtyard of Citrus Park! We provide the perfect foundation for learning and development through all of our wonderful programs.
Our daycare offers Infant Care, Preschool, Pre-K, Private Kindergarten and School-Age programs, all taught by our wonderful, highly trained staff members. Teachers participate in various training opportunities throughout the year to stay current in the field of early education.

Dana Mulrooney, Director
Education: A.A. Early Childhood Education
Certifications: NICCM National Director Credential and Florida Director Credential, VPK Endorsed, & First Aid and CPR Certified
My husband and I enjoy spending time with our three children and traveling together as a family. I bring over 16 years of experience in management, training, and developing others. I began my career as a VPK teacher, advanced to Curriculum Specialist, and now serve as a Center Director. I am passionate about providing children with a loving, safe environment enriched with meaningful learning experiences. I look forward to being part of your family’s journey!

Shreylynn Burnett, Assistant Director
Certifications: NICCM National Director Credential and Florida Director Credential, VPK Endorsed, CDA, First Aid and CPR Certified
I have over 10 years of experience in early childhood education and began my journey with Learning Care Group at La Petite Academy, where I advanced from Early Preschool Teacher to Team Lead and School Safety Captain. I recently earned my Florida Director Credential and am passionate about creating a safe, nurturing environment for children to learn and grow. I value building strong relationships with children and families and supporting each child’s development every day.

Claudia Coker, Team Lead
Certifications: CDA and Florida Director's Credential & First Aid and CPR Certified
I discovered my passion for working with young children in high school while babysitting. Since beginning my career in child care in 2015, I have supported children from infancy through school age. I hold an Associate degree in Early Childhood Education, along with my Child Development Associate (CDA) and Director’s credentials. I strive to create a safe, engaging learning environment that promotes creativity, independence, and confidence.
