Welcome to The Children’s Courtyard of Irving, TX! We are located between 635 and 114, North of DFW Airport in the Esters Business Park. My name is Crystal Harrison and I am the campus director. I have been with Children's Courtyard since 2016.
We provide a strong foundation for learning by providing care from Infants at beginning at 6 weeks up to Pre-Kindergarten students. We are accredited with Cognia and Texas Rising Star. Our teachers undergo training throughout the year and have access to free CDA learning.
We closely follow recommendations from state and local authorities, to maintain a clean, safe, healthy environment. Our cook prepares healthy and delicious meals each day for all of the classrooms.
We’re committed to providing simple ways to keep you connected throughout the day while your child is in our care. With live streaming video, you can view your child’s classroom from any device or computer. Plus, get real-time updates with our family communication app.
Schedule a tour to learn more about our amazing campus. We look forward to seeing you soon at The Children’s Courtyard in Irving, TX!
Are you concerned about the impact of COVID on your child’s education? You’re not alone. Now, more than ever, early education matters. We’re here to help.
Starting at the front door, our already robust health and safety procedures have been enhanced to ensure a clean, welcoming school environment. The well-being of your child is our top priority, now, and always.
Elective programs allow students to learn by exploring creative outlets that will help them advance in the future—while giving your family more free time on evenings and weekends. We offer:
Fitness, Soccer, Music, Yoga, Spanish, Phonics, Handwriting & Advanced Math
In this classroom, your child will make discoveries and think independently, as we prepare them for the future. The authentic Montessori curriculum enables children to learn in their own way, at their own pace, through the practical application of sensory-based and self-directed activities. Our certified Montessori teacher spends significant time with each child, helping them discover unique talents and interests. Plus, a full complement of Montessori equipment offers tangible, hands-on learning opportunities to develop children’s skills and senses.
This mixed-aged classroom (for 3- to 6-year-olds) also helps children to develop social skills and challenges them to learn to work together—while being mindful of the best interests of others.
Ask your school director for additional details.

I began with Children's Courtyard as a lead infant teacher, and then spent nearly four years as an assistant director before taking on a role as a director. I truly enjoy helping kids develop a lifelong love of learning and feel a sense of accomplishment. I love watching them grow and helping them reach all their milestones. I live in Flower Mound with my husband and eight year old daughter and love being a part of an amazing and active community.
I have five years of early education experience. I enjoy teaching young children and watching them learn and grow.
