Welcome to The Children's Courtyard here in New Braunfels, TX! My name is Donna and I am the director of this educational child care center, I have over 30 years of experience in the early childhood field.
Our school offers Infant Care, Preschool, Pre-K, Private Kindergarten and School-Age programs, all taught by our wonderful, highly trained staff members. Teachers participate in various training opportunities throughout the year to stay current in the field of early education.
We closely follow recommendations from state and local authorities, to maintain a clean, safe, healthy environment. Are you concerned about the impact of COVID on your child’s education? You’re not alone. Now, more than ever, early education matters. We’re here to help.
Starting at the front door, our already robust health and safety procedures have been enhanced to ensure a clean, welcoming school environment. The well-being of your child is our top priority, now, and always.
In this classroom, your child will make discoveries and think independently, as we prepare them for the future. The authentic Montessori curriculum enables children to learn in their own way, at their own pace, through the practical application of sensory-based and self-directed activities. Our certified Montessori teacher spends significant time with each child, helping them discover unique talents and interests. Plus, a full complement of Montessori equipment offers tangible, hands-on learning opportunities to develop children’s skills and senses.
This mixed-aged classroom (for 3- to 6-year-olds) also helps children to develop social skills and challenges them to learn to work together—while being mindful of the best interests of others.
Ask your school director for additional details.
Is your child scheduled to start kindergarten? Will changes in your district impact their school year? We have a solution. Private Kindergarten is a small class with big opportunities for your child. Five full days of in-school learning, featuring nationally recognized curriculum, prepares your child for first grade.
Certifications: CDA and Director Credentials
I have always had a passion for children and the excitement they get when they accomplish a new task. It is a joy to be a part of their learning. I am proud of the fact that our school is like a family working together with parents to help the children succeed.
