Welcome to Our School

Welcome to our Children’s Courtyard daycare and preschool here in Lacey, WA! My name is Alicia, school Director, and I have over seven years in early childhood education. I am passionate about leading a team that is dedicated to providing high-quality care for our children and their families.

We offer Infant Care, Private Preschool, and other early education programs, as well as a Before- and After-school program for School-Age students. Our teachers have many years of experience and participate in various training opportunities throughout the year.

Alicia Erickson, Director

Education: BA in ECE Administration, MA in ECE Leadership

I was born and raised in Washington State. I have three children, Kadin, Daelynn and Emberlie. I have been working with children for over 10 years. I started in the school district in Wyoming where I specialized in Behavioral Management. I also obtained my Wyoming Teaching Credential. I have worked as a lead teacher and assistant director before taking on the Director role here at the Children's Courtyard!

After graduating from Yelm High School in 2017, I got my first job as a toddler teacher and realized that I had a huge passion for working with children. I began working at CCY in 2018 and have grown to love the high quality of care that we provide. I believe a safe and fun learning environment as well as age-appropriate curriculum is so important for the growth and development of our children. I'm looking forward to being a part of implementing our early learning program.

Hello my name is Dana Chung, team lead at the Children's Courtyard Lacey (South). I was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea and my family immigrated to the US in 2010. I graduated from SPSCC with Associate's in ECED. I been working with this center since 2016. I'm very happy to work with all of children and my fabulous management team. It's my joy to help children, families, and teachers to work together as a team for providing the best opportunities for children to grow!
