When we opened in 1997, we became the first Children’s Courtyard educational daycare in Austin. Our loving Infant Care and superior Preschool programs provide the perfect foundation for learning and development.
We have an exceptional group of teachers. They receive ongoing training throughout the year, including CPR and First Aid training. As a team, we have over 61 years of experience.
We service, Bluebonnet, Pioneer Crossing and IDEA at Parmer Park Elementary Schools. Our facility includes spacious classrooms and playgrounds for each age group, two indoor playrooms and a lactation room for nursing mothers. We also offer fun and educational camps during the holidays, as well as extracurricular activities such as soccer.
We closely follow recommendations from state and local authorities, to maintain a clean, safe, healthy environment. We’re committed to providing simple ways to keep you connected throughout the day while your child is in our care. Are you concerned about the impact of COVID on your child’s education? You’re not alone. Now, more than ever, early education matters. We’re here to help.
Starting at the front door, our already robust health and safety procedures have been enhanced to ensure a clean, welcoming school environment. The well-being of your child is our top priority, now, and always.
Elective programs allow students to learn by exploring creative outlets that will help them advance in the future—while giving your family more free time on evenings and weekends. We offer:
Soccer, Music, Yoga, Spanish, Phonics, Handwriting & Advanced Math
In this classroom, your child will make discoveries and think independently, as we prepare them for the future. The authentic Montessori curriculum enables children to learn in their own way, at their own pace, through the practical application of sensory-based and self-directed activities. Our certified Montessori teacher spends significant time with each child, helping them discover unique talents and interests. Plus, a full complement of Montessori equipment offers tangible, hands-on learning opportunities to develop children’s skills and senses.
This mixed-aged classroom (for 3- to 6-year-olds) also helps children to develop social skills and challenges them to learn to work together—while being mindful of the best interests of others.

I was raised in Fort Worth at The Masonic Home and School of Texas. I then moved to the Austin area when I was about 15 years old. I was in the healthcare field for several years. About five years ago, I switched career paths and landed here at The Children's Courtyard. I started off as an assistant teacher in the after-school program and worked my way up. I love working with kids and I have an amazing team that I work with. It's great to be here to teach, love and support the families!

I have been with The Children's Courtyard for four years. I started out as a teacher but my passion for education motivated me to become a manager. I also have two teenage children who keep me on my toes. In my spare time I love to spend time with my children and sew.
Hello, my name is Jasmine and I am the preschool manager/assistant director. I have been with the Children's Courtyard since October of 2013. I started my career as an infant teacher and since moved to management. I have worked with children for over 12 years as a teacher at Family Faith Center, as well as a volunteer and Nursery Director for Tree of Life Church. I enjoy working with children and building relationships with parents and their little ones is something I value very much.
