Welcome to Our School
Welcome to The Children's Courtyard early childhood education center in Aurora, IL! Our school is more than a daycare and we are proud to offer a safe and enriching environment for your children. We're proud to offer two authentic Montessori classrooms, and we also provide Infant Care, Preschool, Pre-K, and Before- and After-School programs for children six weeks through 12 years old. Our students have their development and imagination jump-started by our dedicated staff and an award-winning High Scope curriculum that focuses on engaged, hands-on learning.

In this classroom, your child will make discoveries and think independently, as we prepare them for the future. The authentic Montessori curriculum enables children to learn in their own way, at their own pace, through the practical application of sensory-based and self-directed activities. Our certified Montessori teacher spends significant time with each child, helping them discover unique talents and interests. Plus, a full complement of Montessori equipment offers tangible, hands-on learning opportunities to develop children’s skills and senses.
This mixed-aged classroom (for 3- to 6-year-olds) also helps children to develop social skills and challenges them to learn to work together—while being mindful of the best interests of others.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education
I have been in the Early Childhood Education Field for 22 years. I have had a passion to work with the children since I was a little girl. I have three beautiful children of my own. Watching each child grow and change individually, emotionally, socially and physically every single day put smiles on my face! I helped open this building 16 years ago, and can't way to see how much more it changes in the next 16!
