Welcome to Our School
Welcome to The Children's Courtyard of Dr. Phillips! We have been serving the community for over 20 years and wait to welcome you!
Our program offers Infant Care, Toddler, Preschool, Pre-K and School-Age programs. In our early childhood program, we use a proprietary curriculum that utilizes regular assessments so teachers can customize their lesson plans for the specific needs of the children in their classrooms. This unique approach allows us to meet the diverse needs of the children in each classroom and be sure that we have them well prepared for Kindergarten. Our before-and after-school programs provide plenty of outdoor time for school-agers. Additionally, we offer transportation to/from Bay Meadows Elementary, Palm Lake Elementary and Dr. Phillips Elementary!

Hello, my name is Elsie Vera and I am very excited to be the new Director at The Children's Courtyard. I earned my Bachelor in Elementary Education. I have been teaching for 20 years and been a Director for over 15 years. I am extremely excited to create a positive environment in our communities, children, and parents at our school. The opportunity to be a part of their growth and provide a safe and nurturing environment is incredibly rewarding to me.

My name is Maria Alejandra, and I am proud to serve as the Assistant Director at The Children’s Courtyard. With a background in economics, I transitioned to early childhood education in 2017 and have found my true passion supporting young learners and their families. I began my journey as a teacher's assistant and am passionate about creating a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment for children, while supporting families and guiding our team toward success.

Her exceptional leadership and instructional skills led her to become a Curriculum Coach, where she supported and mentored fellow educators to enhance classroom practices. Beatriz has been committed to creating engaging, play-based learning environments and advocating for high-quality early education.
