Welcome to Our School

Welcome to The Children’s Courtyard educational daycare at Gattis in Round Rock, TX, serving families in the Round Rock, Hutto, and Pflugerville communities.

Established in 2001, our school provides the community with exceptional child care and early childhood education. We offer loving Infant Care, superior Preschool programs, and After-School clubs. We are three star quality rated through Texas Rising Star.

Many of our teachers and staff have been with us for 5 years or more, with our Director and Infant teachers having been with the school for more than 15 years. Our teacher retention is a result of our dedication to educating our staff members. This ensures they are equipped with the knowledge needed to promote the success and well-being of each child.

I’m a foster mom and have a little girl in the toddler classroom. Today I literally watched on camera with tears in my eyes. The love and education she is getting is so wonderful. She is truly blessed to be a part of this school. She runs to her teacher ms Maria everyday and can’t wait to sit at circle time. I couldn’t ask for anything better.

The Gattis School location of the CCY has exceeded our expectations for the education and care of our children for the past 5+ years. Within those past years we have only switched schools once to find a preschool with lower tuition, but returned to the CCY after only a few months. The education and care our children receive here is simply exceptional. Both of our kids have learned and grown so much,

Megan Selvera, Director

Certifications: Director Certification, CPR/First Aid, SIDS/Shaken Baby, and Health & Safety

I have over 20 years’ experience working with children from Infants to School Age. I have been with Learning Care Group since 2007. I began my career here as a Lead Toddler Teacher and then proceeded to move up through different management positions and became the Director here in October of 2016. My goal is to provide a solid foundation for children so they can become lifelong learners. I hope to create a fun, safe, and welcoming environment for everyone who comes into our building.

Hannah Jimenez, Assistant Director

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies.

Certifications: CPR/First Aid, SIDS/Shaken Baby, and Health & Safety

I have more than 15 years of experience working in the Child Care industry. I started working in child care full time after graduating from Sam Houston State University. I have worked with various age groups as a teacher, then began working in Child Care Management in 2011. I started with Learning Care Group in 2018 and have worked in various positions and locations over the last several years. I hope to provide a loving and safe place where children can learn and grow together.

I have over 15 years of experience working in the child care field from infants to school age. I have been with Learning Care Group as the Administrative Assistant since 2023. My goal is to provide a safe and fun learning environment for children and making sure families feel welcomed each time they walk through the doors.
