Welcome to Our School

Welcome to The Children’s Courtyard educational daycare in Lewisville, TX! My name is Brandy, and I am the campus director of this wonderful school. I have been working in child care as a teacher and manager since 1995.

At The Children's Courtyard, our Infant Care and Preschool programs provide the perfect foundation for learning and development. We have separate rooms for each age group and we also have two indoor playrooms for use during inclement weather. Plus we have newly updated playgrounds! Our School-Age program is located in a separate building and includes several rooms for a variety of activities.

We have an outstanding group of teachers on our staff. Together, they have more than 60 years of experience! To remain leaders in early education, all of our teachers participate in ongoing training throughout the year. We also have an amazing cook on staff who ensures children receive healthy, delicious meals that are safe for children with allergies.

I have 29 years of experience in early childhood education with 27 of those years spent at The Children's Courtyard. My favorite part about working with kids is watching them learn and grow throughout our programs. I build strong relationships with my families and have loved every minute of my job!

I have been in the Early Childhood Education field for 28 years with 26 of those years being with The Children's Courtyard. I was a two-year-old teacher for four years, a PK teacher for five years, and now have been in management for the last 11 years. I believe our school is an extension to the care and love that every child deserves. It takes a village to raise a child and I feel privileged to be a part of that village.

I joined this Children's Courtyard team as an infant teacher in June of 2019. While working here I have been with all age groups. I truly enjoy them all. During my time here I welcomed my precious son in December of 2020. I am also about to welcome my baby girl in October 2022. I have enjoyed growing within the company and can't wait to see what the upcoming years have in store for me.
