Welcome to The Children’s Courtyard educational child care center in Flower Mound, TX, located at the corner of Morriss Road and Forrest Vista! We provide the perfect foundation for learning and development through all of our wonderful programs.

Our school offers Infant Care, Toddlers and Twos, Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten and School-Age programs. We are accredited with Cognia and Texas Rising Star, and we continue to meet and exceed accreditation standards, which are higher than the Texas Child Care Minimum Standards.

We have an outstanding group of teachers on our staff with more than 100 years of combined early childhood teaching experience. To remain leaders in early education, all of our teachers participate in ongoing training throughout the year. The company also offers free CDA's to our staff, and other great benefits to ensure their education and safety. Our amazing staff cook ensures children receive healthy, delicious meals that are safe for children with allergies or dietary restrictions.

Our building is designed with separate rooms for every age group, plus areas for recreation. We have a 21st Century STEAM Lab for our Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten classes, and the School-Age program includes engineering, science, art, and theater rooms. Our Prep Lab curriculum will keep all students engaged in school academics while having fun with our thematic topics.

Director and other managers are super nice. They always greet me and my child by name. All teachers know my children and I like how home like it feels. They got renovated which is awesome improvements. The School-Age program is amazing now and we love how caring all the teachers are. I would highly recommend this center!

We are always greeted in the morning by Lauren, Tessa, Crystal and the morning teachers by name and when we leave for the day, it's so comfortable and like a family! Crystal Harrison, Director

Education: Bachelor's of Science-Biology, Bachelor's of Arts- Chemistry

Certifications: Texas Director Credentials, CPR/First Aid Certified, Texas Food Manager License

I began with Children's Courtyard in 2016 as a lead infant teacher, and then spent nearly four years as an assistant director before taking on a role as a director. I truly enjoy helping kids develop a lifelong love of learning and helping them feel a sense of accomplishment. I love watching them grow and helping them reach all their milestones. I live in Flower Mound with my husband and 9 year old daughter. I truly love being a part of such an amazing an active community!

I have worked for Children's Courtyard for 7 years. I started as an Early Preschool teacher but have worked in School Age for 4 years before becoming a School Age manager in 2021. I have enjoyed every minute of my time at CCY. I love being a part of all our children's lives, watching them grow and develop from infancy to elementary school. I am married with two beautiful daughters, both of which attend CCY and love it. I love being a part of our Children's Courtyard family!
