We offer School Age kids a fun, rich environment where they can spend time doing homework, or take the time to play with friends. From science experiments to sci-fi movies, putting on plays to playing arcade games, The Children’s Courtyard is the place to be for friends, learning and fun.

Our School-Age Program is designed to complement the children’s school day, so our state-of-the-art facilities offer many options on how kids spend their time. The space is arranged for a variety of indoor activities and outdoors, kids play team or individual games, or just hang out. A hands-on attendance system lets children move between interest areas, yet allows teachers to supervise all children, and maintain our recommended ratio and group size. A lesson plan for each area is developed with the children’s input from team meetings, a time when teachers and youth have the opportunity to discuss activity ideas. Plus, we offer interest clubs where children can plan, implement, and evaluate projects as a team.

We recently implemented new state-of-the-art computers in our School-Age classrooms to further enhance the learning process. At The Children’s Courtyard, your child will not only become technologically savvy, but will also be able to access over 50 programs that are both educational and fun!

Beyond school

The Children’s Courtyard School Age Program also offers full day summer camp and holiday programs to provide children with a fun, safe way in which to spend their out of school time and begin to develop life skills they will need to succeed through their high school years and beyond.
