Whole Child Education

Education Centered on the Whole Child

At The Children’s Courtyard we take a Whole Child Education approach to teaching. That means we are looking at the big picture — not just getting your child ready for kindergarten, but all that comes after. We concentrate on skills such as early literacy, logical thinking, problem solving, social understanding, physical coordination, creativity and positive character traits.

Part of this social and character development includes age-appropriate independence — everything from kids serving themselves at lunch to tying their shoes and making sure they wash their hands. We also emphasize problem and conflict resolution through talking out instead of acting out.

By concentrating on all areas of your child’s development, we are creating lifelong learners and good citizens.
